Phil Viardo
Founder and Principal of VIARDO ARTISTS

With over two decades in the entertainment industry, Emmy Award - nominated producer Phil Viardo has a career that has taken him from working in the technology and new media sectors to excelling in different facets of the entertainment industry. Since 2009, he has built Viardo Artists into a respected brand in the fast-paced world of Hollywood dealmakers.

In a 2013, Viardo partnered with Natural 9 Entertainment under the Tri-Crown Production Group umbrella, making a major focus pivot to production and content creation. Instrumental in growing the company's production and development slate with numerous non-scripted and scripted projects, that include new TV series for ABC, CW, A+E, National Geographic, GSN and Univision, Viardo assumed the position of Executive Vice President of Development & Talent for the overall company, while Viardo Artists became the de facto Tri-Crown management wing. Viardo and Natural 9 Entertainment first collaborated on producing an acclaimed program “Chris & Adrianne Do Russia” for WEtv in 2007, and then again in 2009 as they co-created popular weekly internationally syndicated entertainment news program Hollyscoop.

As a founder of Viardo Artists, a Beverly Hills-based entertainment firm specializing in talent and intellectual property management, publicity as well as film and television production, the Viardo vision was to unite key services of the entertainment industry, all working seamlessly within the framework of a progressive, idea-driven company.

Prior to starting Viardo Artists, Phil ran another boutique shingle, The Viardo Agency, where the primary focus fell on his varied Talent clientele that over the years included such names as Christopher Knight (Brady Bunch, My Fair Brady), Adrianne Curry (Americas Next Top Model, Surreal Life), Oksana Baiul (Olympic Champion), Blu Cantrell (Grammy Nominated Recording Artist), Michael Lombardi (Rescue Me), Shaun Toub (Iron Man, Homeland), George Gray (The Price Is Right, Junkyard Wars) and numerous others, while also representing such entertainment brands as Madonna-owned Maverick Films, with whom Viardo also had a first look picture deal; RAW Entertainment, Trigger Street Productions and lifestyle brands like Von Dutch, Antik Denim, Hollyscoop and electronics/graphics giant NVIDIA.

Prior to launching the agency, Phil held executive positions at major PR firm such as Rogers & Cowan, Shandwick and Bender/Helper Impact where he was responsible for running several major accounts including Playboy Home Entertainment Group, Interactive Imagination, Konami, Infogrames Games, and Burtin Productions among others. While there, Phil was also responsible for packaging a popular IP called “Magi-Nation” into a Network TV show project and producing a TV pilot for a show called Cyplex. It was these experiences and his love of all facets of entertainment that lead him to launch The Viardo Agency, and then later Viardo Artists.

With a new focus on film and television production, in the last two years alone, Phil has been responsible for creating a non-fiction program development slate of over 100 active projects. He is also an EP for the upcoming major feature film Hellfire Club, written by Jeffrey Hatcher (The Duchess, Casanova) and produced by Cross Creek Pictures (Black Swan, Rush) and the soon to be released documentary feature film Public Enemy Number One directed by Robert Rippberger (7 Days In Syria) for Aletheia Films.
